Limited edition Peugeot sells out

Mon, 18 May 2009
People considering buying a car in the coming weeks have missed their opportunity to purchase a limited edition version of a new Peugeot model, it has been revealed.

The manufacturer announced all of the GT100 308 CC cars have now been snapped up.

However, it pointed out buyers can still get their hands on the standard version of the vehicle, which is due out next month.

According to the company, this edition of the model is also proving popular, with 25,000 potential buyers having made enquiries so far.

Customers have the option of three different specification levels - Sport, SE and GT.

They can also purchase a five-year or 50,000-mile service plan, three-year roadside call-out cover, lifetime accident assistance and the standard three-year manufacturer's warranty by paying an extra £199 for a Peace of Mind package.

In other motoring news, Peugeot recently announced it would be participating in the government's vehicle scrappage scheme.
