  Like many browsing around on local car sales forecourts. Any way of checking cars for any Cat. insurance repairs without asking to see loads of V5C's or spending money online with any of the sites to find details if the car has any issues..

    I have found this particular dealer to be very good and fair in the past, but is this a first for used car sales. Does anyone match it? I suppose that the car needs to be properly maintained as per an original warranty? Kerridges. Needham Market.. my former Mg dealers.

  Hi all I am now forced to have another est car or van ,( due to the insurance company writing mine off ) question is choice what one I need it to carry 3 Dobermans and use every day , also motorway driving . which est is best value for money but about 2-4 years old and on finance . The sales people just see you comming.

  Hi All I am after a new Fiesta and can get a new one delivered in Feb by a main dealer, via an online broker in Feb. Is it better to wait a few weeks for the new plates re re-sale value, even though it will the same motor? Any advice appreciated.

  I too have the problem of the car flatting out at 3100RPM. I am trying to get the VAG COM hooked up but i think that i require the HEX com interface ( the latest and most expensive that Ross Tech do). Has anyone used the cheaper interfaces available on the 1z engine?

  Hi. I have it would appear a faulty parking sensor. To buy from citroen £75+, online £20-30. Does anyone have any experience of these cheaper sensors, they have all the right details inscribed on them, part numbers, bosch made in spain etc etc.

  About to sell me car and getting the paperwork ready i find I only have section 9,10,11, 12 of the V5C, seem to have lost its first page.  Can I proceed without the first page or must i buy a replacement document? Can I tell the DVLA of the sale online without the rest of the document? Tx

  Hi all. Wondering if you can help me out? I've been looking at buying an Audi A3 S-Line and found one this morning on the car-unlimited.com website. This company appears to buy repossessed cars and then sell them on. According to their website, the buyer reserves a vehicle online, then the car is delivered to their home address and is given 3 days to decide if they want to keep the vehicle, at which point payment is made.

  However after looking at multiple cars i keep getting the same thing which stops me from buying them, smoke from oil filler cap and/or oil dipstick. Typically when i go to look at a car i make sure the car is cold, start it up, and see if there is anything ominous comming from the exhaust first.

  All the news stories I have read always feature Mercedes and BMWs.  I have Thai friends who are buying a property in London and will be looking at purchasing a car to use when they are in the UK.  I am inclined to advise them to avoid a German marque and buy something anonymous. I am particulary concerned as the driver will sometimes be a lone female, unfamiliar with London.

  I took it to the Peugeot garage today expecting to be told I need a new motor or something trivial, but got told it's the Com 2000 which needs replacing. Apparently this is the thing which works everything the stalks touch, but it's only my front wipers that don't work. Lights, indicators, back window etc. are all fine. Do I need a new Com 2000 or is there a quick and cheaper fix?

Westbury Wiltshire (FWIW this is the site features in the TV programme ?Sold in 60 Seconds ? where Auction Buyer Charlie Taupe is filmed searching out good buys for featured members of the public) Westbury have Friday evening part ex sales plus Tuesday fleet and a viewable online cataloge but no photos.
