  I'm 23 years old and Recently passed my test and pass plus, I insured myself on a Toyota Yaris that belonged to my girlfriend but now find I need instead to be insured on my mums car , which is a mini cooper s 2004, my policy with ecarinsurance doesn't cover me to drive my mum's car til I'm over 25.I haven't driven yet since I passed.

  Door mirror glass replacement Usual problem- passing vehicle touched the unit and cracked the glass. This was a heated version. Replacement drivers side glass 1050588 was £17.61 plus vat. Spares department fitted the replacement in seconds. ( Haynes has a complex proceedure that I did not understand - starting with "disconnect the battery") I was charged £3 plus vat - at a good London independant Ford outfit.

  To follow on to the last thread. Took the PT cruiser for an MOT this morning. Passed no advisories. All is well. £200 bargain car obviously plus £40 for the MOT... Did not want to see it go to a scrappy.... Yes, to some, it is different... to some ugly, but a tip car etc for peanuts.. see how it goes
