Cheap run about easy to park, reliable

Got this from a dealer, wanted a supermini that was easy to park, cheap to run.
I do a mix of driving, motorways, and so far it very reliable usual wear and tear items replaced, dealer fitted cheap Chinese tyres, changed them to michellin crossclimate 2, ride very supple, quieter grip better.
Changed the gearbox oil, this was overdue replacing the oil resulted in quieter running, better fuel economy.
Bought genuine toyota accessories car mats a plastic bumper protector which I recommend if you don't want to scratch your bumper when lifting heavy luggage.
I even changed the gear knob the numbers were faded got the gear knob from toyota for a fiver, very easy to fit.
Rear brakes are drums, got them replaced must have been there since new, changed front disks and pads.
Fuel filter changed on 2 year interval, same with brake fluid.
Other filter such as airfilter and pollen filter changed every year.
One thing that a plus point is the ease in changing front lights, it takes roughly 1 min to do..
The dealer toyota are very freindly and approachable, cost wise varies.
As a run about it ticks the areas cheap to run practical reliable.
Performance of the d4d engine is good by comparison it's equivalent to the 1.5 petrol engine economy is equivalent to a 1.0 petrol.
A 0.60 time of 9.5 secs and a top speed of 110 mph. The bit to look at is the torque figure it's roughly twice more than equivalent petrol engine meaning it's easy to go through the gears.
The only fly in the ointment is the petrol tank capacity is small 42 litres my previous car a civic was 60 litres guess when u downsize the capacity of the fuel tank is smaller.
The parking camera is useful in parking even in the dark, I do prefer sensors.
Overall very happy with the yaris.
