The best small car I have ever owned

This is our second Yaris, the first being a 2000 model which we bought second hand with 29,000 miles on the clock, and sold with 130,000 miles covered, during which time with the exception of common service items and an exhaust Lambda sensor, it cost nothing to maintain.
We bought this 2016 1 litre 3 door from a Toyota dealership about 16 months ago, and have to say that we've been delighted with it. It has all the bells and whistles my old Mercedes 3.2 had, and then some...a superb air con, sat nav, DAB radio, Bluetooth, cruise control, alloy wheels, 5 seat belts, leather steering wheel & gear knob, phone facilities, remote central locking etc etc, most of which are optional extras on many cars. The noise reduction over earlier models is very noticeable, as is the ultra sharp braking and stability control. The seats are comfortable - not luxurious, but comfortable, with good legroom and height.
The engine is willing and more lively than you'd have a right to expect from a one litre car, and can hold it's own on a motorway with little or no effort. Space inside is impressive (with the back seats down, it carried a 42'' TV without a problem!)
Parking is easy, even when you're trying to fit into a diminished space owing to the two colossal ego trip SUV's parked either side, because the turning circle is excellent.
Fuel economy isn't brilliant, in all honesty. Our old Yaris managed 55mpg without trying too hard, whereas the new one struggles to achieve more than 45mpg, but then again, in fairness it does have a lot of extra equipment to haul around...all adds to the weight.
I've driven many cars in my time, from gentle plodders to heart-in-the-mouth supercharged and turbo'd, but as unassuming and genteel as the Yaris is, it's actually a pleasure to drive, totally reliable, and a joy to own. I honestly can't think of a thing I'd change, or that it lacks (with the exception of a CD player, maybe).I would wholeheartedly recommend a Yaris over any other small car, because it doesn't feel or act like a small car. Try the rest, then test drive a Yaris - you won't look back.
