Overall reliability
Excellent and superbly reliable
Bought the car with 160,000 miles and now on 270,000, although never had it serviced. A few parts needed expensive replacement - the electronic handbrake (just the Toyota part was over a grand), two injectors, the alternator, the starter motor, but these are hardly surprising given the mileage. On the whole a terrific car. Probably not possible to beat for reliability, but Hondas are reportedly A1 too. Would recommend Toyota, but pick the right model and do your research.
