Smooth drive and economical

Bought the car at just under a year old and have had it just over a year and have done about 9,000 miles. Very happy with it. Comfortable and a very smooth drive with no noticeable wind noise and great on bends. Some tyre noise and can be a bumpy ride on very poor surfaces but fine on most roads. We regularly achieve 5kwph on country lanes and A roads and charge at home with a 3 pin plug. Obviously not suitable for everyone but most of our round trips are between 30-90 miles so absolutely fine for us. Enormous amount of leg room in the rear but the boot's not so generous and the space to put a charging cable under the boot floor is very tight and not really suitable. Unfortunately, my wife had a minor prang with a car park bollard and it took 4 months to get the parts. In the meantime the garage let the 12v battery go flat so the onboard computer had to be re-booted and now android auto is not connecting. Hope to get that sorted when it goes in for its second recall next week for something to do with the AC, which seems par for the course with modern cars.
