Quiet, comfortable and economic.

I have only had the car 2 weeks which I bought as an ex-demo with 2200 miles on the clock. Initial impressions are good as the car is quiet(ish), very comfortable and economic (62mpg showing on the trip). It is well equipped with more bells and whistles than I need but Kia follows the new route of offering metallic paint as the only option. All of the basics work very well but there are some oddities. The current fuel economy only goes to 60mpg which is less than the car achieves. You get a warning if you put the key into the ignition and the wheels are more than 30 degrees off centre. The biggest oddity is the cornering lights. At low speed and small steering angles, separate bulbs in the headlights illuminate the corner. I can understand this as manoeuvring speeds but not at 30mph around roundabouts.

Overall a very pleasing car and one I look forward to owning for the next 7 years.
