Ford launches Kuga Titanium X Sport

Published 21 August 2013

Ford has broadened the appeal of its Kuga by launching a new trim level. The Titanium X Sport will be the flagship model in the range and feature body coloured side skirts, rear spoiler and front silver skid plate. Order books are now open and prices start at £28,345, with deliveries expected from early October.

According to Ford, the Titanium X Sport has been launched in response to customer demand, with more than 80 per cent of Kuga customers opting for higher specified models. The new trim will include a number of improvements over the Titanium X, with Sony DAB navigation, rear view camera, active park assist and power folding door mirrors all fitted as standard.

Engine options remain unchanged, with the choice of a 1.6-litre EcoBoost petrol engine or 2.0-litre TDCi diesel. Customers will also be able to specify between two or four-wheel drive.

Mark Ovenden, Ford of Britain managing director said: “With such strong customer demand for the Ford Kuga and the majority of buyers choosing the luxury and refinement of the Titanium X with optional extras, it made perfect sense to introduce the stylish range topping Titanium X Sport.”
