Renault Clio 1 Petrol - W Reg - Insurance Query - Elijay
In the past I've always traded my car in.

I intend buying my friends car when she gets her new one so I will be selling mine privately. So far so good.

For a short while I could find myself being the owner of two cars. What do others do? Any advice would be appreciated.

Contact your insurer. Some will cover your old car for a few weeks for free, some will charge a fee and some will tell you to buy a whole new annual policy. Only way is to ask.
