Illegal manouevres

Illegal manouevres - henry k
I was more than a little surprised at an illegal manoeuvre that I have not seen before.

This occurred on the A30 roundabout just East of Staines.
This is an unusual roundabout as it has the A30 dual carriageway bi-secting the roundabout, all controlled by traffic lights.
I needed to turn right off the A30 so take the left lane, wait for lights to change and then cover about 90% around to the next lights.
I am now positioned at the front of lane two ( of four) waiting to cross over the A30. I am suddenly aware of a vehicle coming towards me from the right at about 45% probably at about 10mph.
It then did a smart right turn and positioned itself in front of me but of course way over to stop line.
The lights change and he was on his way.
It looked like a regularly executed , (stuff you lot I do not want to be slowed by lights) manouevre by someone who knew the situation well.

It was on a par with driving the wrong way down a road opposite a school just by Kings Cross that I saw several drivers doing.

Beware and be ready for anything!
