Vauxhall - 2002 vauxhall combo starting problem - jimmygoult

I have a 2002 vauxhall combo van desiel. It's starts fine in the morning but when I turn it off and go back to it in an hour Or so, it will not start. But if I leave it for around 8 hours or more it will start. When it don't start it will bump start. And also when it don't start it just turns over like it's out of desiel, but if I leave it over night, then it will start, what could be the problem ?
