Probably a blown fuse. Check the fuses in the fuse box.

However, it may be worth first reading the thread currently going on in "Legal Matters" about Citroens, fuse boxes and, erm, cars catching fire(!) It would appear from that that a sudden cessation of wiper service is one of the clues that something's up in that area.

If it is a blown fuse and it either blows again immediately after changing or the fuse box looks suspicious, you may be in for a largish bill.
