Here's a tour that I have discussed before in other places. It can include various routes which are these.

Granddaughter will soon have twins to accommodate, she already has a 2 year old and a 3 year old.
They have a limited budget so will be looking at used cars, locally there seem to be a few Hyundai and Kia 7 seaters at reasonable prices, but mostly with fairly high mileage.... Read more
I assume with the 2.4 diesel?
check out the potential timing chain issues. Google is your friend. The older ones may have rust issues.
Hello I would like to say to everyone on this forum that I'm not a spam bot like you accused me of been. If you don't like new posters posting here so then be it! I just won't be here ever again. I hate forums that do this. Spam is when a bunch of fake users all register and then make hundreds of pointless threads advertising porn or shopping websites. Do you think that I'm doing that? Does it look like I'm posting porn here? I wouldn't do anything like that! The only reason why I posted here is as one particular forum stopped general discussion a while ago. I wouldn't have even known how much hate the post was going to get. Enjoy your day. Read more

Here in Yorkshire right along the coast they have done a car tour known as Route YC. It covers North and East Yorkshire naturally starting at Staithes where the Teesside/North Yorkshire boundary is. The tour covers the 6 seaside towns along the Yorkshire Coast and can be split into 6 local tours too. I'll put in a description of them all.

Agree...Saltburn is a great little town...and the fish and chips on the sea front are fabulous.!
Good evening. My elderly husband is no longer able to lift and remove his lucas battery from his van. I am trying to find if there is some sort of winch of a table top size rather than a floor standing one that could be adapted to help him to lift it in and out of the engine bay onto a table below. We dontbhavevthevroom for storing the types of tools have been seeing on amazon etc so am wondering if anyone one has any ideas please
You might want to look into a portable, tabletop mini winch or electric hoist that can be mounted on a table or a sturdy frame. These are much smaller and could help with lifting the battery in and out of the engine bay without taking up too much space.

2005 - Replaced car battery yesterday. Today started up fine. After driving for half an hour or so. 3 beeps intermittently. Then orange warning light came on (diesel - light usually comes on when starting up, goes off after approx 5 seconds, can then start up).
Any suggestions what needs to be looked at? ... Read more
Do you know the engine type? 2005 models were the last with indirect injection engines. Much less complex than the HDi versions. If it's the latter it should have HDi badging and HDi lettering on the engine's acoustic hood.
Is the light you mention the one for the pre-heat plugs?
Hi all,

I had this predicament re buying a car when I'd already arranged an insurance renewal but it was back in 2015. I just told the insurance company and I got two lots of documents. It did cause a glitch with AskMid re new car until the new renewed policy started - I made sure I carried both certificates with me just in case.
I won't sell a car privately now unless I know the person. Toooo many people trying to defraud you! Get a price from Webuyanycar and Motorway and arrange timing just beforehand? Still worth getting a trade in price just in case but make sure you're not being over quoted but loosing discount from the car you're buying.
Unfortunately the council took away mirrors we had installed opposite our driveway, but I really need something as an alert - when I have cars or worse vans parked either side of my driveway it's a serious hazzard to pull out safely from the driveway (alongside short children who may shoot across at that very moment).
I would have loved a non wired solution to the issue, cones or such like, but I think I've run out of options. Most cameras I see are for reversing, can anyone recommend any for pulling out (or even both, when I'm edging the car back in!?)... Read more
"Ali express " sell such a system, not particularly cheap and looks quite involved to install.
Hello.
Symptoms of burn exhaust valve ..but. ! Seems to run on 4 cylinders for a minute or so.then on to 3..just wondering if hydraulic valve lifter could be pumping up not allowing valve to close..... Read more
Burnt valve or cracked valve seat . Not uncommon on the Prince engine.
I suppose so. If Route 66 was a traffic jam passing around various unpleasant towns. This country is not really big enough or empty enough for road trips, I'm afraid.
