Railroad.

As I've mentioned in another thread, a petrol needs five things to run. If all of these five are good then there is no reason why it won't run.

1. A good supply of clean air....

So a few nights ago I was coming out a junction to then proceed to go through another junction in the centre of the road in order for me to drive on the other side.

Once I was on the other side I forgot there was a speed camera a little bit behind from there I turned. I am now worried about this because I wasn't sure what speed I was doing. I never actually went by the speed camera though. It was a little behind from where I was. The passenger in the car at the time didn't think I was going that fast. ... Read more

I believe speed, sorry 'safety' cameras are different animals to traffic enforcement cameras. If the was TE camera monitoring the junction and you entered or left it incorrectly you would receive a PCN in the post. If it was a fixed speed camera they usually flash and take a photograph of the offence. But the waiting game is on I am afraid. They have a certain amount of time to contact you so you will soon know either way. Good luck. Concrete

Another couple of weeks and Harvey has nearly done 2000 miles, I did say he was going to have to work for his living.

With a few more miles and more familiarity thoughts have crystallised. He is very comfortable, the ride and seats are making long journeys very relaxing. The stereo really isn’t great, it’s OK for news stations but music lacks depth. Worth upgrading but it wasn’t an option on the Titanium 1st edition. Sat nav does take longer to boot up than in Mustang. Don’t know why both same sync system. Blis is great. Can’t believe it’s only a 1l engine, seems too tourqey and flexible for such a small engine. Sounds good when reved hard in sport mode too! MPG seems to have levelled out at 46, maybe too much use of revs and sport mode? Thought it might be better. However I think if one stuck to mway speed limits 50mpg should be possible. Overall very happy.... Read more

These sound like decent cars to drive, the spirit of the original Puma preserved in the handling and performance. Only the looks put me off - especially the front end and the bulbous headlamps and front wings. Looks a bit like a Kia or Hyundai.

And some corrosion where kerb scraping may have taken place. I use Muc Off myself for cleaning wheels. Hose, spray on, rub with brush, hose off.

Neighbour's car, 85,000 miles. Losing coolant. Tiny bit of condensation mayonnaise on cap but none elsewhere (as far as one can see inside) and the oil looks OK. Coolant looks OK too. Engine sounds fine and the 'smoke' smells like steamy coolant, not burning oil. Are these engines known for CHG failure or could it be something to do with the intercooled turbo? Any Renault experts out there? I would be grateful for opinions re diagnosis.

This engine seems to have been around in many different cars for a long time, but perhaps 80 - 100,000 miles is all one can hope for? Read more

Any driving instructor would be doubled over with mirth imagining a driving examiner working temporarily for HMRC or the DWP.

From my trip there last year. I would guess Kia, Hyundai and Toyota , Suzuki more than happy to take up the slack left by Ford Honda and GM Holden.

Hi wondering if anybody could help me please I have a fault code 4f81 ratio monitoring clutch A , the car seems to thump in 1st and 2nd gear and sometimes high revs before changing gear I have taken the car to one gearbox repair garage and they are saying it could be a complete gear box repair . I have read a couple of forums and have come across several which suggest it could be a cracked adapter near Mechatronics and to fix this would need a new adapter and sleeve I mentioned this to the garage and was told it won't be this . I have also been slightly put off by the price changes of this garage every time I get it contact . If anyone could help it would be appreciated thankyou Read more

Find a gearbox specialist FEDAUTO have a list covering the country, as specified on this website. I would try find a local specialist first.
