I have (from new) a 2013 '62 plate Volvo V60 T3 SE. My local dealer is about to fit, under warranty, the 3rd set of wheel badges. The previous two sets deteriorated quite badly beneath the plastic coating. I have examined several other similar models and found the same deterioration. However, Volvo claim there is no issue and they rely on dealers' reports of customer complaints. Either we do not complain forcibly enough or the dealers and Volvo choose to ignore the issue in fear of bad publicity.
May I request that any forum-follower Volvo owners examine their wheel badges closely and report their findings?... Read more

Unfortunately 17 bar fuel pressure is no where close.These common rail diesels need at least 150 bar pressure before they will fire into life.I would get the injectors out and tested properly.Overhauling an injector is not a diy job.

There is an article on this site about 'why don't the British like automatics'?. It's hardly surprising since your website rarely reviews automatics when a new car comes out and is not very helpful in identifying the best (particularly petrol) automatics. Most of your reviews favour diesels which as we now know will soon be too polluting to drive.... please can we have a more positive plug for petrol autos of all sizes..?? Read more

Looked at the oil today and there was white ish sludge on the dipstick. Otherhalf took it for a 40 mile drive and told me that the oil light briefly came on, but that the sludge wasnt as thick after the drive.... Read more
It's also worthwhile checking the crankcase ventilation system-I 've found orifices in the system blocked on both Fiesta and Panda.

Back in `06 I bought the missus a Grande Punto......dont ask!
Within 12 months the wheel bolts had turned bright orange with rust. I took issue and got a new set under warranty. Fast forward 12 months and guess what....
