Hyundai Genesis Coupe DMF failure

The dual-mass flywheel has failed on my 2009 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. The flywheel is covered under warranty, but they won't replace the clutch and the other components. Would the DMF failure also lead to the clutch's failure?
The are taking the view that if the clutch is undamaged they won't replace it under warranty. But for the £300 or so extra it's likely to cost you while the engine and transmission are separated anyway, I'd pay to have it replaced. A new clutch is a valuable selling point and to have it replaced at a later stage could cost £700 in labour just to separate the engine and transmission again.
