Do insurers offer savings for drivers that use dash cameras?
Many new cars come with standard equipment like reversing cameras, lane departure systems, radar cruise control, eyesight driver assist braking etc - so why not built-in dash cameras? Also, do any insurance companies offer discounts for using a dash cam?

Many insurers offer discounts for dash cam users, but they often have catches i.e. it needing to be a Nextbase dash cam or only offering these discounts on new policies. You can take a look at the insurers that offer savings here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/legal-motoring-advice/20.../
As for why they aren't standard on cars, I assume it's because dash cams aren't legal in all countries.
