I've got a 'Check' warning coming up on my Kia Rio's dash.

I have a 06-reg Kia Rio which is displaying a sign saying "Check" which, according to the handbook, relates to the emission control system. I have not detected any change in the performance of the car which has been excellent since I purchased it a year ago.

You don't say if it's petrol or diesel. If petrol, might be a slightly dirty lambda sensor. Try a fuel system cleaner and a longish run. If no joy, take it to the dealer.
