Can I fit 17-inch wheels to my Audi TT?

Being a pensioner I find the ride a little hard and sporty on mu 2005 Audi TT. It currently has 19-inch wheels, with low profile tyres. Can I swap for 17-inch wheels with more rubber on the road? If so where would be a good place to get help?
