I am new to car ownership - what do you suggest for tyres and fuel?

A couple of months ago we bought two brand new cars having just returned two company cars. We have a Skoda Superb SE saloon 1.5 petrol DSG and a Kia Rio 2 petrol 1.0-litre manual. As we are new to car ownership we’ve extended warranties and pre-paid services but have some questions now on future tyre replacements and fuel. What fuel would you recommend for both cars - we only have BP, Morrisons and CO-OP petrol stations near to us. Also what tyres would you recommend for both cars when they need replacing to give a good mix of economy, safety etc? Your guidance on both would be very helpful.

The fuel will have to be BP Ultimate 97 RON for both cars. Shell V-Power 99 RON would be better if Shell starts to invade your area. Switch over to Continental AllSeason Contact or Michelin Cross Climate when all four tyres are worn out. To make that happen at the same time, swap the tyres front to back at around 10,000 miles.
