Should I swap my Euro5 diesel for a hybrid?

I drive a 2012 Volkswagen Golf diesel (Euro5). For work, I drive 65-miles-a-day. What with the rising price of diesel, I'm thinking of getting a hybrid. What would you recommend?

I wouldn't be too keen to jump from a diesel to hybrid - diesels still make a lot of sense if you cover high miles.

For 65 miles a day on the motorway, a diesel still makes sense - while a hybrid would be better if those miles are around town. If you do go down the hybrid route, I'd recommend the Hyundai Ioniq hybrid. It's got a really good interior and is relaxing to drive.
