Hyundai ix35 - delayed delivery

From a personal perspective I only discovered this resource last Friday, much too late to help me personally but I do feel a responsibility to draw to your attention that Hyundai are acting irresponsibly and are continuing to mislead would be clients who have paid deposits in good faith in expectation of quoted delivery dates. Today I found out my order placed on 20 August and due for delivery end September but slipped to end October/first week in November has not even got a build date. It is hard to determine with certainly where the misrepresentation lies but on the balance of probabilities the problem lies more with Hyundai manufacturing than the dealership. Very recently manufacturing has told dealers not to quote any dates but that did not apply to orders placed before the end of September. Remarkably Hyundai customer services (a misnomer if there ever was one) are completely unresponsive and it has taken me 10 days to wring a response from them - quite happy to forward you a copy if you wish. I'm writing this in the hope that you will highlight Hyundai's cavalier attitude to the problems that they have made to nearly 400 people who have listed stories on your forum. If you want to sight particular cases I'm sure you won't be short of volunteers but I'm more than happy to stand up and be counted. It is only right that you have first crack at this but I do intend to involve other journalist in due course and as you know if you choose to run something it will spawn copycat articles.
