Much promise, not quite transformed into reality.

Great thought has gone into the design of the Forfour. It has a brilliant turning circle and is superbly equipped. The rear seat is genius, every inch of space is maximised. Although modestly powered, it is comfortable in town and at the national limit. Ergonomically the driving position is acceptable, however the top of the speedometer is obscured if the steering wheel is lowered and the clutch 'bite point' is rather high. Switchgear falls easily to hand. The Forfour steers beautifully due to being rear wheel drive, gear-change is average. My vehicle has been back to the garage for rectifications 3 times in 3 months related to build issues and equipment malfunctions. Although the service department has unflinchingly done its best, it has been a frustrating new car experience.
