Excellent little car. Brilliant 4 wheel drive for the winter. Never a speck of trouble.

We have owned a 2006 petrol version for over 5 years now. My wife uses it for work in a district nurse/carer type role. We live in a rural area and the car provides a greater element of ground clearance and higher driving position plus switchable 4 wheel drive for poor weather or very muddy lanes.

We paid £3,000 in Nov 2016 at 59,000 miles. My wife has averaged about 6,000/7,000 miles a year (mostly between 15 and 25 mile journeys 3 to 4 times a day). The car has now done 87,350 and has never put a foot wrong.

We do attend to everything it needs when it is serviced. But it is worth investing in because it is such a little workhorse. We would never sell it, my wife feels so comfortable and safe.

It is really quite fun to drive. I bought another one the same to run for 6 months while my infiniti was off the road waiting for parts (never buy an infiniti). My son then bought that one off me before passing his on to a friend. But my wife would never part with hers. I offered to buy her a Fiat 500X, the Fiat replacement (hard to find 2nd hand with manual 4 wheel drive), but she flatly refused to even consider it.
