Mercedes-Benz E 350e Estate - on sale now
The new E-Class is phenomenally good, especially as an estate. We think it's the perfect family wagon thanks thanks to its quality, refinement and a massive boot. It also looks good and drives incredibly well. As you can tell, we rate it very highly.
And alongside the usual diesel models there will also be plug-in hybrid - badged E 350e. Like the BMW 530e, the Mercedes is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine alongside an electric motor. It also gets standard air suspension and has a 20-mile electric range.

Thanks for the info. on hybrids. I will be looking for a raised height , preferably 4 WD , auto, similar to my Honda CRV , or a little smaller. Am I asking for the impossible ?Austin
