Vauxhall GT

Vauxhall (Opel, really) has refused to confirm or deny whether or not this cute, tiny sports car will ever make production but we really hope it does. In terms of size it’s a bit like the Mazda MX-5 but with a hard top instead of a fabric roof.

The concept recipe is great – it has a 1.0-litre turbo engine with 145PS, rear-wheel drive and a very light body. For blasting up and down back roads it’s the perfect template for a low cost, cheap-to-run sports car. We really hope the bigwigs approve this one and put some sparkle back in the Vauxhall range.
