Clutch drag - Nissan Primera - jase1
I've worked out that the clutch on my Primera 1.8 (2000, QG18DE engine) is most likely dragging. With the car started up, sometimes (not always) all gears can be difficult to engage when the car is stopped. They're fine when in motion, and when the engine is switched off the gears go straight in. Disengaging and re-engaging the clutch most often makes no difference.

I've also noticed that the bite point is on the low side, not ridiculously so but lower than it probably should be.

Am I right in thinking this is most likely a fault with the hydraulic system somewhere? Any ideas as to probable cause / cost? Probably a length of a piece of string question I know, but I thought I'd ask anyway :)

Any advice gratefully received.
