BMW 3 Series - Trade-in: service due - peterb

I'm trading in my 3 Series and its replacement (A3 saloon) should be delivered by the end of the month.

The 3 Series is due its 3 year service by the end of the month.

I'm reluctant to bother before trade in (assuming it happens in September) but are there any potential problems with not doing so?

The car will have an MOT as that's a condition of trade-in.

They may bring the price they're offering you down to allow for the cost of a service - bear vin mind that they'll probably be putting it through the trade, so whoever buys it off them in the auctions will bring the price down accordingly too.
