Is it fair to have to pay a diagnostic fee for a car covered by a warranty?
Our Hyundai dealer wants a nonrefundable £78 diagnostic fee before covering work under the Hyundai five-year warranty. Is this acceptable?

If the diagnostics find a fault then the fee is refundable. If they don't, it isn't. You can't expect a dealer to work on a car that turns out to be fault-free for nothing.
