How good are Michelin Cross Climate tyres?
Would Michelin Cross Climate tyres be a good replacement for dedicated Winter and Summer tyres on a BMW 5-series F10 550? I change every six months and don't mind doing so but would be interested in your opinion as to whether the Cross Climates would perform as well.
Also, whilst I appreciate you have found Cross Climates to be excellent, it would be a comfort to me if you could state that you don't receive any incentive from Michelin to recommend them.

Cross Climates come in a limited range and they don't do them in sizes more than 18-inches or profiles lower than 40. No, no incentives from Michelin, except they supplied a set free for my HR-V which was of no material benefit because the original brand new Michelins has to come off.
If a product proves to be consistently excellent, I sing its praises and I would be doing a disservice to my readers if I didn't. This policy may or may not lead to gaining some advertising revenue. Never has from CarGiant, Shell, Tyremen and many others. There is a possibility that you might be able to get Pirelli Scorpion Verde all weathers for your 550. You will be able to get high performance winter tyres such as Pirelli Sottozero and Michelin Alpin.
