What five-door hatchback should we buy?
We are looking for a five-door hatchback. Petrol, manual or automatic, medium size with higher profile tyres. Mechanical/electronic reliability and rust resistance are important. Probably two to four years old but new if a case for it can be made. Value is more important than price. If you would list a few ideas I would be very grateful.

We'd recommend the latest (2018-) Kia Ceed. A nearly-new one represents very good value for money and it will have the remainder of its seven-year warranty. Also consider a Mazda 3 or Peugeot 308.
