What new hatchbacks would you recommend with a decent warranty?
After the lockdown is over, I am going to buy my final new car. I want a Ford Focus-sized hatchback, petrol, automatic with good reliability and a decent warranty. I know it's a crowded market, but do you have any recommendations?

We'd recommend the latest Toyota Corolla. It's a brilliant car and comes supplied with a five-year/100,000 mile warranty as standard. The hybrids are the best in the range, with low running costs and excellent refinement. The 1.8 returns over 60mpg, according to Real MPG: www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/toyota/corolla-2019

Very efficient hybrid hatchback with a surprisingly upmarket interior. Good to drive, too. Standard equipment levels are generous.
