What could be causing clutch judder first thing in the morning?
We have a 2014 Suzuki Swift 1.2 Dualjet with 40k miles on the clock. The car has recently developed a clutch judder when pulling away in first gear after the car has stood all night. After the initial take off in first gear when the clutch judders it then operates smoothly for the rest of the day.
The dealership has tested the car and confirmed the clutch judder is apparent after the car has stood over night. They bled the hydraulic clutch but the judder is still there. I'm fully aware of warranty issues with clutches and I'm willing to pay for clutch renewal if the pressure plates are worn. The dealership warranty covers oil contamination, release bearing failure etc but not the clutch plates which they class as a wear item.

We would suspect that some form of fluid (either coolant/oil) is getting on the clutch plates and would go back to the dealership and request a gearbox removal and inspection of the clutch.
