2004 Ford Mondeo 1.8 Ghia Sci - Exhaust Temperature Sensor 19 Jan 2013 (Forum)
It was assumed by my mechanic that it was probably located as part of the EGR unit, but when he asked the question when he was ordering the part, they didn't know. He phoned the service dept of the local main Ford dealer but they said they had never worked on this Sci engine and couldn't answer the question....it could be in the EGR unit or one of the two Lamda sensors on the cat???? So.... can anyone please tell me where this sensor is located on this model as no one seems to know? -

Ford Focus II (2004 - 2007) - 05 2.0 leak off pipe change. 26 Nov 2012 (Forum)
However when I went to get the leak off pipe this morning was told by parts advisor and technician at Ford dealership that I would need to replace the leak off pipe, inlet manifold gasket and all four injector pipes. Is this correct? I thought the leak off pipe that is leaking could just be replaced but apparently not so. -
Ford Ka 2003 - Interior Fans not working 25 Sep 2012 (Forum)
I was wondering if anyone could help me, I have a 2003 Ford Ka Style and just one day after they had been working perfectly my interior fans just stopped working, unlike most posts I see my fans DON'T work on ANY settings at all, whereas its common to only work on 4, I know there are a few things it could be; the switch, the motor etc Has anyone else had this experience that could tell me the particular part it is so I don't spend a bomb buying different parts for them not to work? -

Ford Focus TDDi - Turbo not kicking in 21 Mar 2012 (Forum)
Hi guys, I have recently been given a 1998 ford focus 1.8 TDDi which on the whole looked like a good car. I drove the car after collecting it and it appears to only be pulling on engine power, i.e the turbo is not kicking in at all, and is therefore very sluggish. -

I have a 1996 (N) Fiesta 1299cc and im having problems with my heating, It only blowing cold air, I have read on some forums about the heating control valve and that could be the cause, Having read another artical it has said that if it was the HCV then the pipes going into the heater matrix behind the HCV would be cold, All pipes attached to the HCV are hot so i am assuming that the HCV is ok ! Ford Focus II (2004 - 2007) - 05 1.6 Spark plug gap 20 Oct 2011 (Forum)
However, the plugs I removed were gapped at 1.3mm and having spoken to a number of people this seems to be what Ford usually fit. The car seems to run fine with both plug gaps. Can anyone which are correct and why I am seeing a discrepancy? Also what would be the advantage / disadvantage of running with too small / large a gap? -
Ford Focus Diesel 2006 - throttle housing fault 15 Sep 2011 (Forum)
Main dealer has diagnosed as faulty throttle housing-they have 'cleaned it up' and say car can be driven for a while-but warning message light stays on-and am advised it will need a new throttle housing . This apparently at main dealer is £500 !! had a few cars (not fords before)-but never had this fault before-and know nothing about it. can anybody shed some light on it-maybe direct to another thread-and give guidance as to whetherr there is an 'alternative' cure-and'or if the cost of £500 is about right !! -

Ford Focus 5dr hatch 2006 '56' reg - Roof rail fixing points - please help! 8 Aug 2011 (Forum)
On removing the 4 thin plastic strips covering the fixing points on the car it appears there are no tapped holes (as should be the case according to the roof rail manufacturer?) I have just asked a friend who has the same car in case Ford had missed drilling mine but he says his is the same? Surely you don't have to drill these yourself? If so will the car then leak water in? Any help would be greatly appreciated as going on hol in a few days! -

ford puma - Short journeys 30 Jun 2011 (Forum)
I wanted to change my car. I could have gone for something elderley, but I thought I'd have a bit of fun and got a Ford Puma. I know this may not have been the most sensible thing to do, but I did it anyway. As I read the Honest John column every week, I know that he doesn't like us boring people who only do little journeys.
