Hi new to this site

Im stuck on a problem with my car,the car starts and runs fine but every now and then it ticks over lumpy for a a while roughly 10-15 mins some times only 5 mins mainly when its warmed up. Then it cures itself!!!!

Ive changed the fuel filter and had the injectors drip tested but no luck curing it.

I've had it put on 2 different code readers but no joy either.

I really dont want to take it to fords as i know it will cost a fortune.

Its driving me nuts now,mainly because its embarasing when im siting in traffic and it starts as it sounds like a tractor.

Please please help someone!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It could be one or more of a number of possible issues.

A Ford dealership will be able to run live diagnostics which could throw up an error code. The other garages use a static error code reader which only log certain types of error code.

Ford will charge around £60+VAT for their services, it's well worth taking it along to them.
