  Hi, My Ford Fiesta was stolen a few days ago from outside my girlfriend’s flat so going through the insurance processes as we speak. I’ve been asked to send my V5C to the claim handler but have noticed it has my old address on it and I moved from this address in May 2022.

  My Ford car failed its MOT, due to emissions, so we changed the catalytic converter and replaced the sensor - the management light kept coming on prior to this and the mechanic said the code reading was for emissions.... so now after a service and having made the changes the management light is still coming on and the mechanic has cleared the codes again, saying the codes are referring to emissions,.... and I must book the car in AGAIN for further investigation.

  So I have been recommended to use some injector cleaner from my local garage on my ford fiesta mk6 as it has been stood for around 14 months and have never had anything like it used on her before from the previous owners. They told me to use redex. To use a whole bottle of 250ml on a full tank and then for the next 2 fills use half a bottle.

  My query is the car is only 6 years old, done 54k miles and been regularly serviced, mostly by Ford at the correct intervals including spark plugs. Why would this occur for a car of this age and condition it doesn't make sense to me? Is there a know issue with these engines at all? Thanks

  With these essential components now almost exclusively manufactured in China and JIT car production, large manufacturers world wide including Audi and Ford in Germany has ground to a halt. Honda and JLR are affected in UK on top of Brexit delays. Demand for chips for hand held devices and gaming machines during lockdown have been blamed.  But to rely on a supply from China leaves the rest of  the world vulnerable !

  Hi I urgently need some advise please. I have a 95 Ford Probe and it won't start. The garage has said it was the distributor - which has now been replaced - but unfortunately it seems there is now a problem with the factory fitted immobiliser. It isn't a Bosch it is a TEMIC.

  My car's EML is stuck on, and I'm reluctant to use the car until it's been checked. The local Ford dealer says he has had several Fiestas with this, and a software update was needed to correct it. A couple of weeks ago, the screen was telling me that the average mpg was dropping fast, while doing a steady 60 on dual carriageway.

  hi to all i have a problem with my car i replace the o-ring injectors and the plastic up to them  and now i dont have a turbo boost. i go to my ford dealer here in greece and he told me how my injector its perfect then go for a ride my car and told me how the turbo have a problem i go the turbo for a service and nothing please help me. and thanks for the reply.

  Wanted something bit smaller, passat getting a bit tired. How long can I expect 'bit thicker for these engines' Ford cambelt to last? It is auto, driven gently. Is it an 'interference' engine? It's done a mere 29,000. Any reason why it shouldn't do another 200,000 without probs? Is there any info re longevity for these engines?

  The pipe on the Back Box on my Automatic Ford Focus has rusted through, there are many sellers on a popular auction site but some mention it is for a manual gearbox, it looks the same as mine which is an auto box. Anyone know if the rear box is different for the auto?

  Ive recently purchased a 06 plate ford transit to discover that the central locking does not work... when you try to lock the doors with the fob the doors all lock but instantly they all unlock, Ive checked that there is nothing stopping any of the doors from closing properly they are all closed,  so when I then try to lock it with the key from the drivers door the same thing happens again but after about 8 or 9 turns with the key the drivers door will remain locked but all others still remain unlocked....

    Currently it has the 2S6U-CC, tried two of these, causes the same issues Called fords, they said it should be the 2S6U-DC Tried throttle body off sisters car 2S6U-DB and it worked almost perfectly Now I need to know, Should it be a 2s6u-dc or 2s6u-db I can get hold of a brand new -DC but not a new -DB    Can anyone tell me the difference between these sub part numbers as well   Thanks

  Hi All Just asking about the procedure for adjusting the handbrake travel on my 2007 Ford Focus.  We've recently moved to a house on a steep hill, and although yes, I routinely leave the car in gear to stop it merrily trundling off into the distance, the handbrake will only hold the car on its highest possible travel.

  I bought a 2011 ford Mondeo 2.0tdci. The car is running really well but I have discovered that the lead  from the glow plug relay that runs down past the alternator shows some damage just accross from the alternater bearing. i would like to replace this cable but I am not sure if its part of the engine wiring loom of if a section of this can be replaced.
