    So I'm in the market for a new car, I'm trading in a reasonably well looked after Kia Ceed 4 from 2015.  I'm looking at 520d, the car is lovely is fairly low miles considering it is a 2017 plate (21000miles), however am I fool for considering their warranty - 24 months for £400 and their service plan £250 for 2x service and 2x MOT.

  The car was first registered March 2014 I bought the car December 2014 with a free 4+ servicing, the first  service was undertaken October 2015 then subsequent years Oct 2016 Oct 2017. This year Oct 2018 would be the last service. Renault have decided that the free servicing should start from first registered march 2014 which is 9 months after I bought the vehicle.

  Not sure if that's even possible! The mileage sequence then follows as:  - September 2015: 14,905 - September 2016: 29,512 - March 2017: 37,993 - September 2017: 45,877 - Current mileage (April 2018): 50,776 Any ideas? I'd like to have some feedback if possible before going back to the seller.

  My 2015 model which has done 30k suffers from rough idling when in Park and neutral. It's not all of the time but it happens often, say 8 to 10 times a day (car is a taxi).  What I have noticed is that when this happens and I pull away in 1st or reverse there is clutch judder and it's significant.

  2007 3.2 i6 HSE 5d Auto Gas Conversion The battery was replaced in November 2015. Today the battery warning light has started to illuminate. Diagnosis I put a volt meter on the battery when engine off and it read 12.1 . When the engine was running it dropped to 11.5 When revving it did not move from 11.5 When off it went back to 12.1 Does this mean the alternator is not working?

  I have narrowed down the search and I can afford either a 12 Volvo V60 R-Design (Has to be R-Design as I prefer the look)  Or else a 2014 \ 2015 Hyundai I40. I know volvo would probably been seen as a better brand but the Hyundai would be 2 years newer and is also a bit bigger inside. Would love to know your thoughts..   Thanks

  The dealership will only sell at the listed price and will not budge from this (no negotiation) --- the list price for a 2016 model is around £36k.  This is a 2015 model and they have listed at £30k.  Is it normal/reasonable for dealerships to refuse to negotiate on ex-demo cars? Thanks!  (First time I have purchased a car that isn't second hand so any advice greatly appreciated.)

These Regulations amend the maximum speed limit on roads which are not motorways for vehicles (known as heavy goods vehicles) which have a maximum laden weight, or, if drawing a trailer, aggregate weight, exceeding 7.5 tonnes.

  1) What should roughly be the cost (parts and labour) to have this fixed at a local garage (based in Cambs)? 2) Is this really a common fault with Mk2 Focus' and if so can I claim anything from Ford if it's a known fault? 3) Having only owned this car two years and with only 53k on the clock should I being expecting these two problems to happen or do I just have a dud Focus?  I thought Ford Focus' were meant to be good cars?
