  On top of that it's pretty quiet and thanks to the little shock absorbers, it doesn't move all over the place when operating. Downsides? The cable storage is a bit messy and it's not that obvious where the air hose is supposed to go - we'd prefer a wind-up power cable similar to other units like the new Ring Ultrainflate range. Also, while there are extra adaptors, they live in a small bag in the case, it would be more useful if these were kept on the unit itself.

  With speed its main priority, there are lots of clean and sculptured surfaces, though there are a couple of mounting points on the top tube for a bag, and some storage has been integrated into the down tube. Canyon bundles in a mini tool, but if you want to stash an inner tube, levers and inflator, you'll need the optional Canyon Load Tool Pack (£18.95), while there's space for a pump as well

  We had our Ohme Home Pro fitted to the front of our house with the power supply cable neatly running along the ground and around our front door step. We chose to have the cable storage alongside as we have often have two EVs to charge - one of which changes pretty much every week so we're never sure where the charging point will be. While the Ohme Home Pro does come with a neat display screen, we rarely look at it, instead using the excellent Ohme app to manage our charging.

  For this priority use I dont need (and may not want) the corrosion inhibitor package, so the simplest unsupplemented stuff would be best, but if I can manage it I might also want to drain and flush the raw seawater cooling system, so corrosion inhibitors might still be useful there. This use would be for storage only, not operation, so ultimately total loss, and fancy stuff is probably contraindicated.

  Luckily, there are no pavements to worry about. My main concern is that I have very limited indoor storage space, so I'm looking for the most compact solution. My parents have a Karcher pressure washer that I could borrow occasionally, but I’m not sure if I have room to store it. But I might use that for the occasional clean.
