Can I use a battery conditioner on an EV?
When going away for a number of months I have left my previous ICE cars on a battery conditioner in the garage to preserve the 12 volt battery. I now own an EV and have read that this would not be possible with his car. Is this true and what advice could you offer in these circumstances.

The specific guidance for electric vehicle storage may vary between manufacturers, so we would recommend consulting the vehicle handbook or seeking advice from the manufacturer or dealer, but as a general rule it is recommended to charge the drive battery to between 50% and 80% charge, and if storing for an extended period of time some manufacturers will recommend disconnecting the 12V battery and leaving it on a trickle charge.
