3.0 Espace Automatic

Most unreliable vehicle

I have owned this 3.0 Automatic for 14 months now and it has spent the last 9months in the Dealers. as similar to most of the previous posts, Loss of power problems.

The dealers Said " that it was a broken crankshaft" and replaced the engine in June of 2012, the vehicle was returned to me and eninge was running well, I took it for a test drive and got 3.5 miles and lo and behold a warning came up on display stop. engine fault. vehicle then was recovered after i got back home in limp mode.
Dealers had vehicle taken in and again lo and behold they found nothing wrong, computer says nothing found. now for the 9th time it's back on the yoyo string with dealers stating no fault found and they have completed 200 miles no faults. yet as soon as i drive it bang loss of power again.
I have had several espace MPV's and thought this was the best, only to be let down big time.
if i am lucky to get it more than 7 miles from the dealers and able to get it MOT'd it's for sale would not after this experiance have another.
