£40,000 for less than 48000 miles of motoring can't be right!
I had a replacement engine after 13 months due to a part shearing in the Intermediate Shaft and 4 months ago after 34000 miles the second engine failed for exactly the same reason. The dealership have stated that there is nothing that I could have done to have caused the fault nor to have prevented it. Porsche GB have stated that "it is not the responsiblity of Porsche to subsidise those owners who choose not to purchase extended warranty to protect their investment" and will not support a goodwill claim. This can't be morally right!!
