Fun and Good Looking But Will Break Your Heart.....

I have only owned my car since March 2014, but so far it has cost me so much money to fix problems.

Bad things first -

Failed its first MOT with style - Main issue has been rusting back and middle clamps that hold the exhaust, to replace these the garage had to replace part of the exhaust at the same time. Window washer pump stopped working and needed replacing. This plus the normal wear and tear issues my MOT came to £820

Now at only 49,000 miles the car is starting to burn oil - every two weeks the warning now comes on requiring more oil :-(

The car has never started first time on a cold morning - this I have heard could be due to the software which can be updated by Peugeot.

The second gear does not select easily and very often grinds and makes the car jump.

Running costs are quite expensive as the car is very thirsty and now needs oil all of the time...even for just town driving.

Now the good things -

Its very easy to drive and park - the parking sensor is a great addition and I love how the display changes to give you more detailed information.

Its stunning looking, it drives like a dream, its quick and its fun! There's nothing better than to take it for a drive with the roof down on a hot day.

The roof is easy, quick to open and close and looks great.

The boot space is amazing ! so much room, even with the roof down.

The rear seats are no good for someone to sit in, but perfect for my needs as its extra space for shopping or when I take my dog out (she is clipped in with a dog seatbelt and harness)

All in all I would not recommend this car, and would suggest buying either a more expensive 4 seater or get a MX5.
