What small SUV should I buy?

I have driven SUV's for 40 years. Yesterday I wrote off my seven year old Kia Sportage. I cannot drive a normal low down saloon! I will only be able to afford a used small SUV now - Dacia, Suzuki etc, or another. What would you recommend?

If you like the idea of a Dacia, the new Duster is excellent, or if you're going used, the previous-generation version is a good choice, too, although it will feel more utilitarian compared to the new version. For something that feels a bit plusher while remaining great value, you could also consider the Skoda Kamiq.
