A great all-rounder that doesn't do anything badly and some things well

I've owned this car for 9 months now and it's doing what I thought it would. It's comfortable, luxurious, quiet and spacious. What it isn't is exciting but then I wasn't expecting it to be! Yes it can accelerate to 60 in around 7.5 seconds and whilst this is useful this car is much better suited to smooth driving. I average around 29 to the gallon over a mixture of roads and I am happy with this. It has nice touches like the wing mirrors dipping when reverse is selected and the running plates illuminated when you open the doors at night. The leather seats are of a good quality, the stereo is fine and the Xenon lights are excellent. On the minus side and bearing in mind the cost new of this car - the memory seat switches and the mirror switches aren't illuminated at night...crazy, you have to open the door to see what you are doing! One annoying thing is that I have had to have a speaker replaced coming in at a hefty £280. Never had to pay out before for a speaker! Lexus dealers are excellent (you are paying top-whack) but I'm not enamoured with Lexus UK though. A word of warning, Lexus alloy wheels have a known problem in "bubbling" so check you potential purchase carefully. Would I buy another Lexus Hybrid 4x4? It's a definite maybe, I really like my RX400h, I'm just not sure I really love it.
