Overall Good with a few issues

Waited 9 months for performance blue with black roof, no Bose. In the first 145 miles the gearbox oil seal blew and the clutch started slipping, another problem a few owners have had, Oil over the drive way and also probably on a 100 mile journey. Was not happy as there could be damage to the gearbox. Dealer promised to clean the driveway never happened. Hyundai refused to replace the gearbox. then water ingress into the clear boot strip trim, now a design problem had many others. Drivers booster seat wear within 4000 miles another known problem, down to very poor quality faux pretend leather. Tyres last about 4000 miles so not replacing like for like. Overall the rst is fine in just over 1200 miles so far 36.5MPG which is good as they say best is 40mpg. Roof paper thin as few complaining dents easily, Paint very thin as reported by many. Price for the car is fair, plenty of toys as standard. Specification in different countries differs. UK model does not have that stopping system if getting to close to a car in front, wish it had this option. Latest news is it will be discontinued in 2025 due to EU regulations and emissions. Nippy car just wants to go and go, love the "N" mode which I drive 90% of the time. Lovely note from the exhaust. Seats firm and comfortable for about 100 miles or so. Road holding excellent. would I recommend it to a friend not too sure re the seat problem that all will have, whether it will be replaced under warranty is a question and if so will only last about 4000 miles again re quality of the pretend leather, so I arch my back getting in and out as my wife does in the passenger seat, to preserve the seats a bit of a joke in my opinion to have to do this
