A very stylish Grand Tourer cabriolet

Reader warning - I am a long time Alfa fan, so am not as objective as some reviewers may be.
I bought my Misano Blue V6 because I wanted an Alfa that would take my wife and I away for weekends, or longer, in some comfort and style. I opted for the V6 as I have previously had earlier Alfas with the glorious V6 Busso engine.
I haven't been disappointed, it is a head turning car in this blue, and the performance is great, with a lovely sound track and not too loud. It is not a sports car, and is quite a heavy beast, with the 4 wheel drive adding weight. This manifests in a bit of a thirst - 16mpg round town and 23 - 24 on longer runs. I don't do too many miles in it so am not too worried about the fuel costs.
My car was a one owner, low mileage (26,000miles) and in excellent condition. There were some initial issues but I'm happy to tinker, and got those sorted e.g. the gas struts in the hood needed replacing. There are 6 and they can be bought for ca. £20 each. Also, a warning message about ABS not being available pinged up. This is a known indication of a failing battery and a new battery sorted that.
Apart from that it has been a reliable and fun to drive car.
Tax is expensive, currently £695 per annum.
