LEGO launches Nissan GT-R Nismo build
Lego is launching a Nissan GT-R Nimso as part of the latest Lego Speed Champions line-up — which focuses on drifting and racing vehicles.
The GT-R Nismo will be one of the first in the 2020 Speed Champions themed sets, which will be 25 per cent bigger than in previous years.
The GT-R Nismo model, made from 298 Lego pieces, is designed to capture the 'authentic and intricate details' of the life-size race car in a relatively small Lego model. It's available from January next year.

The supercar marks the first partnership between Lego and a Japanese automaker. Appearing at the launch was the 2020 GT-R Nismo. The new GT-R features carbon-fibre front and rear bumpers, roof and rear spoiler, as well as carbon-fibre front wings plus new lightweight wheels and new tyres, tuned suspension and transmission, Brembo carbon brakes and new turbochargers.

The Nissan GT-R Nismo isn't the only new addition from Lego in recent months, though. The brand launched the 2500-piece Technic Land Rover Defender 90 — which includes a four-speed sequential gearbox and gear selector with levers for engaging high or low gear, a detailed in-line six-cylinder engine with moving pistons under the bonnet, removable roof rack with storage box, plus a detailed interior.
It also recently revealed the first ever LEGO Technic Top Gear Set. The new Lego Technic app controlled Top Gear Rally Car features a big rear spoiler, chunky tyres and hatchback-like appearances. It will be available from 26 December 2019.
The kit comes with one large battery, one extra-large battery, and one Bluetooth-controlled smart hub. The rally car can be controlled via the smartphone app, with functions such as steering, multi-touch control and gyro control as well as being set different challenges and achievements.
