Mitsubishi launches 2012 Shogun
Mitsubishi has unveiled the 2012 Shogun which arrives in the UK this week. It now comes with a Euro V compliant version of the 3.2 DI-DC diesel engine and as before is available as either a three-door short wheelbase or a five-door long wheelbase. Prices start at £29,499 for the entry level SG2 model and rise to £40,999 for the higher specification SG4 model.
Styling changes inclue a redesigned grille with slotted bars along with black roof rails, a black front skid plate, colour-coded front bumpers and new 18-inch alloy wheels. Inside there are higher quality materials on both cloth and leather upholstered models, along with a brushed silver finish for the electric window control panels.
The trim levels have also changed so are now SG2, SG3, SG4 along with the familiar Warrior which, in terms of specification will sit above the SG2. SG3 and SG4 models get automatic lights and rain senstive wipers plua privacy glass while SG4 models now come with a colour coded spare wheel cover. The new Shogun is available in five colours - Diamond Black, Frost White, Graphite Brown, Orient Red and Cool Silver.
