Engines are all four cylinder and kick off with a 1,078cc 12 valve which puts out 62bhp at 5,500rpm and 91Nm torque at 3,500rpm. This gets it to sixty in 15.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 91mph.

Next, a 1,345cc 12 valve develops 82bhp at 5,500rpm and 114Nm torque at 4,000rpm. It dashes to sixty in 12.6 seconds and on to 103 mph.

Third petrol engine is a 1,599cc 16 valve with 105bhp at 5,800rpm and 143Nm torque at 3,000rpm. It hits sixty in 10.9 seconds and races away to 113mph.

Finally, coming in 2003, is a 1,493cc 12 valve common rail diesel offering 80bhp at 4,000rpm and stumping up 170Nm torque at 2,000rpm. Performance of this is sixty in 13.7 seconds, topping out at 106mph.
